This explains what information Kathiyawadi.in keeps about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We do not sell your information.
Your account
Your name, your phone number and/or email, your password (stored scrambled, never readable), your language, and when you accepted these terms. We use them to sign you in and to contact you about your account or your business.
When you contact a business
When you tap Call or WhatsApp, we count it for that business with the time, the language and a scrambled version of your internet address, so we can stop fake counts. We do not see or record your call or chat.
When you send an enquiry, your message and phone number go to that business so they can reply.
Reviews and listings
Reviews show your name and rating publicly. Business listings show the details the owner entered, including the phone numbers they chose to show.
"Tell me when it’s live"
If you leave your email or WhatsApp number for a feature that is coming, we keep it with that feature and contact you once when it is live. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
Stored on your device
Your browser keeps your language, the place you picked, whether you closed the announcement bar, and your sign-in. They stay on your device and you can clear them in your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
We may count visits without identifying you, to see which pages are used.
Who else sees it
Our team, to review listings, help you and confirm plans. The business you contact. Our hosting and email providers, only to run the site. Authorities, if the law requires it. No one else.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Email hello@kathiyawadi.in or WhatsApp +91 75730 55757 and we will reply within 30 days. Some records, like payments, may need to be kept longer where the law requires it.
